  1. OLLIITES: Offering a series of four NASA GLOBE Observer Citizen Science workshops. Participants will learn how to make environmental observations that complement NASA satellite data to help scientists studying Earth and the global environment by downloading the free GLOBE Observer app and submitting cloud, mosquito habitat, and land cover observations.

  2. BOOK CLUB CENTRAL REMINDER: March 6 stories about Pets on the Case. –Katharine, your cat should be featured her!

  3. HAWAII BOOK AND MUSIC FESTIVAL: May 4 and 5 from 10 am – 5 pm each day on the Frank Fasi Civic Center Grounds. Need volunteers to help set up booth and be there at 9am. $20 each to participate. Getting grant from National to help pay for booth and registration and insurance.

  6. KAUAI WRITERS CONFERENCE: Kurt Indvik reaching out to us to let us know about the next event- November 4-10, 2019. They are offering Sisters in Crime a 20% discount for the upcoming conference and would like to have a Skype session with us in one of our meetings. Greg Iles and Anne Perry speaking at the 2019 conference. Greg is well known for his Natchez Burning trilogy and Anne is a New York TiOutreachmes best-seller and was named by that newspaper as one of "100 Masters of Crime". We will offer Sisters in Crime members a 25% discount if they take both classes.
